Beosound 1 is a portable wireless speaker system with 360-degree sound technology that sends clear and powerful audio in every direction. A complete multiroom music system crafted in high-grade aluminium built to play every streaming format out there.

360 SOUND PERFECTION

THE ACOUSTIC LENS

·  Thanks to our Acoustic Lens Technology you will experience an almost spherical sound that is surprisingly loud yet extremely nuanced, so you get to enjoy all the beautiful details your music has to offer. 
 

THE SOUND SPECTRUM

·  The custom-built 1 ½ inch full range driver plays downwards into a reflector. It is a combination of sound direction and speaker construction that results in the spherical sound profile – and the uniform timbre experienced in all directions.
 

BASS DRIVER

·  The 4 inch bass driver is placed at the bottom of the speaker. It is placed upside down which allows us to utilise the entire capacity of the cabinet and use a relatively large driver – and because it plays downwards it provides a bass experience that spreads evenly across the room.

The bass is powered by a 40 watts amplifier and the upper frequencies are supported by a 20 watts amplifier.

 

DESIGN

THE SHAPE OF THE CABINET

Visually, the natural anodized, cone shaped cabinet that is slight curved creates the compact impression that makes Beosound 1 fit in anywhere on a shelf or at the kitchen table.

The shape makes it unobtrusive while still providing sufficient space at the bottom for the bass driver to create a great sound experience. The aluminium cabinet is an extruded tube that is formed in a hydraulic press into the cone shape. The cabinet is 3 mm thick for sufficient stiffness to avoid acoustic vibration and increase the inside space as much as possible to optimise the acoustics.

 

PORTABLE FLEXIBILITY

Beosound 1 is a battery powered speaker that can be charged and used wirelessly for up to 16 hours of continuous playing, if playback is at moderate listening levels. On each side, there is a groove in the aluminium cabinet to facilitate wireless communication.
